"Stay away from this company. He said he took credit card before the ride but asked for cash when we got to the airport. Did not run the meter. Aggressively followed me inside the airport to the atm for $40 cash. I will be making a complaint with police department on Monday."

"Awful! If I could give 0 stars, I would. Stay far away…book a taxi online and received #520. Worst driver ever. Wouldn’t help elderly parents load the luggage and wouldn’t even place the luggage on the curb upon exiting. He then had the nerve to complain about his tip even though we tipped 13 dollars on a 27 ride. Again, stay far away from this company and driver!! Do yourself a favor and get an Uber or Lyft!! "The cars reek of alcohol and cigarettes. I've been to dive bars that are cleaner. Booking appointments mean anything. Cable companies are better at keeping appointments than these guys. Sometimes, walking would've been faster than waiting forever and getting the ride"

"Most of my experiences with this company have been favorable. I have also been lucky to have had mostly friendly drivers. My complaint is when I have pre-booked a ride (usually the night before), I have had instances where the cab either never showed or I called and they apologized and said the cab was on its way. The most recent one was last Friday, I needed to be somewhere by 6 pm and the cab had not yet arrived by my pickup time of 5:40. Finally at 5:55 I canceled it and went back to work. At 615 I get a call that my cab is outside! I said I cancelled it. Most of the time they are great, but they need a better way to ensure you get your ride if you pre-booked!"

"I rarely leave reviews but wanted to thank Tommy's Taxi for their consistent and reliable service in taking my elderly father to medical appointments, mostly in Boston, this past year. I am relieved when I see that he's been assigned a Tommy's Taxi driver for his trips because I know we're not going run into last minute issues. It might not sound like much, but with other companies, we've had no-shows/last-minute cancellations, he's been left waiting outside in hot weather, and missed appointments. So thank you and we are fortunate to have you in MetroWest."

"Was already 40 minutes late for pickup and still was nowhere near me. Had to cancel important medical appointment I waited 3 months for. Now will have to wait another 3 months. Never use this service unless you don’t want to get to your appointment"

"Waited 26 minutes this morning. The app said 12 minutes. Other times I'll order a cab and they come in 2 minutes and then leave if you're not outside. Inconsistent and the app is super unreliable with times. Also the drivers don't say hello or even acknowledge you and are almost always on their phones. The price isn't good either. Sometimes it's $15 to go two miles. I'd rather use redcab or take the bus at the point."

"Very unprofessional company with very DANGEROUS drivers! One driver in particular, driving Cab 108, off duty I might add, on October 2nd 2024. I was driving home, my road is 30mph, turned on my blinker signaling I was going to turn, slowed down, and prepared to enter my driveway. That's when I saw the lights, coming FAST! I had to quick react and rather than try to safely get into my driveway, I had no choice but to SLAM on the gas and drive quickly forward, in order to avoid getting rear ended by this guy! I continued down my road and pulled over. This guy, older guy, kinda burly, very short grey hair, rolled down his window and started screaming at me while laying on his horn. I was able to turn around and head back home after he moved on and immediately called the cab company. The first woman I got on the phone showed empathy and apologized to me. When I described the driver, she knew exactly who he was and said they'd been receiving multiple complaints about him. Funny however how he's still employed there... She gave me the man in charge, Bill, and told me to call after 10am the next morning. I called, the woman who answered the phone at that time asked me what happened as well after I asked to speak with Bill "what is this in regards to", so I told her the same thing. Her response to me "oh crap..." again, seeming like she was completely aware of what a problem this guy was. He was off duty at the time and driving to endanger. I also called the local police in my town to give them the head's up this guy was out and about and dangerous and to keep an eye out for him. So I left Bill a voice mail and I didn't hear back... I waited until today and called again. He didn't seem to have any memory or clue about my voice mail I had left, about cab driver 108 who was off duty, who could have totaled my car and cost his cab company a lot of money and a lawsuit, because YES I would have pressed charges 100% after what happened. This wouldn't have been a simple human error accident but would have been a careless and reckless driving to endanger accident. Bill seemed to not care at all when I spoke with him, so I decided to write this review publicly. DO NOT support this company! Call Uber or Lyft, or anyone else because clearly Bill does not care about the public's safety, is well aware of this guy's bad behavior, and has kept him employed!"

"Ridiculously overpriced! they quoted me nearly $30 for a 1 mile ride in Brookline. I got a Lyft four $6.50. Why are there any local cab companies left in Brookline or any cab stands that I can find?"

"My advice to you is ask expressly for one of their larger cars (which they erroneously call vans). Their regularly sized cars are about impossible to squeeze in and out of due to near-zero leg room in the back seat. If you ask to ride in the front seat, then the cabbie will invariably tell you to go to hell. Just use Uber. Taxis are dinosaur-age things and a total INconvenience. I have spoken."
