"On 11/25/23 one of their drivers that they claim are independent contractors slammed into my new to me 2020 f150. This driver was not paying attention to the road infront of him and literally ran into my fiance going about 65 mph on 78 when my fiancé stopped for the traffic ahead of him. It’s been months and the driver never reported it to insurance and when I called the company to get this settled they told me the drivers should have insurance for it LOL,he called my insurance demanding we pay, we pay for someone who slammed into us totaling our car aka he probably doesn’t have insurance. So next time you think about getting in a classic taxi think about your life and safety and also the people on the road. If they cause the accident they believe they are not at fault or their uninsured drivers are at fault and unfortunately you probably won’t see a dime from it cause they don’t have proper insurance (thankfully I have full coverage) so I’m sure they’ll have to pay 🤪. But They would’ve killed my fiance if he wasn’t driving a pick up truck that day. So if you value your life and time and money don’t get into any of their taxi cabs."

"I would give this a zero rating if i could, My grandmother called for a taxi and ened up waiting about 20 minutes for a call back. when we were called they had said the driver just arrived and i immediately went downstairs; when i got down there i was met by an agressive and rude driver claiming he had been waiting upwards of ten minutes (if we had just been called how were we supposed to know). i place a bag in there and ask him to wait a sec as i have to get more laundry bags he tells me to put all the bags in the trunk, AND AS I CLOSE THE DOOR TO GO CIRCLE BACK HE SPEEDS OFF. my grandmother has told me this isn’t the first time she gets treated like this and i hope non of you commission this company so to avoid this treatment"

"The cab dispatchers were absolutely incredible when trying to book rides from and to the Newark Airport. Very organized with scheduling with sms system and with keeping clients informed in general"

"Probably the worst cab service I’ve ever encountered. The drivers are incredibly rude, don’t follow basic traffic safety, and even call people on their cellphones (in their hand, not hands free) when driving."

"Called for a cab ride to the airport and they never came . So we called again and they said they never received the call. Then finally someone came. I had called the previous day to ask how much would it be for a ride to the airport . I was told $20 over the phone. But when we arrived to the airport the woman said it was $22. $2 wasn’t a problem to give but what’s really the price ? Probably would’ve saved more if I took Uber. But otherwise, the trip to the airport was fine. So I’ll give them 4 stars."

"I normally use this service daily. Lately I’ve been having problems with getting a car and the young lady who answers the phone has been rude!! I called for a cab and within a minute or so I get a call saying he was on his way. Then about 10 minutes later the base calls me back saying there’s no cars available. How is that possible?!?! As I’m trying to explain to the girl that someone called me she’s insisting I called another company and not them because no one would call me since she had no cars available. As I was trying to speak she hung up on me! Never have I ever had a problem with them until this week. They have definitely lost a faithful client!"

"Go Car has the best caring drivers in the city. Their service in the mornings is great, and the estimated time they give you as to when a cab will arrive is very close to time. However, my reason for just the four stars is their service after 4 PM really suffers and goes downhill. No matter when you call them from 4 PM on, the dispatch always tells you 5 minutes for a cab. Before you know it, it is 30 to 40 minutes later before they show up, if they show up at all. And no matter how often you keep calling them because they are very late, it's always the same story. "There's a lot of traffic, it will be another five minutes." Of course that 5 minutes can be up to a half hour long. This cab company is good, as I said in the mornings, it's great, but after 4 PM don't even bother calling for a cab, unless you want to hear, they will be there in five minutes. They should just be honest with customers. Nobody is going to wait over 20 minutes for a cab. And by the way, I'm writing this on September 2, 2022 and I called for a cab around 4:30 PM today. It is now 6 PM, an Hour and Half later, and I managed to get where I'm going in another company's car, and I still haven't heard from the driver who was only always five minutes away. They just never showed up, but were just five minutes away."

"5 stars all of the way!!!!!! I liked my driver so much because he told me that I could pay less for the ride. I didn’t know and I usually would call and get charged 60 dollars but he told me on the app that it would cost less. So I download the app and it would only charged me 45 dollars. I would definitely be using th app to be making my cabs!!!!!! Also it took me to my destination in a good way and also on time. Thanks Nicholas taxi"

"Stay away. I called the night before our 9:30am flight, informed the owner that I needed a car for 6 people (5 adults 1 infant) and at least 4 luggages at 6:40am. He said ok a driver will call you at 5:30 and didn’t even ask for my address. That should have been the first red flag. I asked about how we would pay and that’s when he told me about the app, so I downloaded it and reserved the ride through there. I booked a minivan which is the most expensive option, which on the app states can seat 7 passengers, 5 large luggages and 7 small luggages. 6 am comes around, my ride is confirmed per the app and my credit card also got charged, but I didn’t get any calls so now I’m not sure if our ride is coming. I called and spoke to the owner again, he connected me to the driver, but made me feel silly about “being scared” that a car wasn’t coming so I didn’t want to press on about the seats/space I would need. It arrives at 6:45 but it’s an SUV that has a 3rd row but then not enough space for our luggage. If I had booked the XL car with only 6 passengers and less luggage capacity, that would have been on me. However I booked a mini van for a reason and that was not the service received. So now I need another car to come for the rest of our passengers/luggage that doesn’t arrive until 20 minutes later, causing stress about arriving to the airport on time. Then the owner has the audacity to ask for payment for the second car when we shouldn’t even have had to call it in the first place. Just unacceptable. I had hoped this would be more reliable than Uber from the recent good reviews but this was a terrible experience. I won’t be using or recommending this service. Uber would have been cheaper too."
